About This Experience

Overview

Mount Batukaru, rising to 2,276 meters in the Tabanan regency, is Bali’s second-highest mountain and an epicenter of pristine wilderness. The trail ascending via Malen Temple takes hikers through dense, mist-shrouded primary tropical rainforest teeming with giant ferns and ancient flora. Unlike the rocky volcanic landscapes of eastern Bali, Batukaru remains forested nearly to the top, where a historic summit shrine opens to wide views of central and southern Bali at dawn.

Note: All timings and schedules are indicative and subject to operational confirmation by the guide.
